Sizing

How do I find the right size?

Check the sizing details on each product page and compare them with your measurements and usual fit. For snowmobile jackets and bibs, size for the layers you'll wear underneath. Still unsure? Call us at (866) 663-9777 and we'll help you choose.

Sled + Ride

What gear do I need for my first snowmobile trip?

Start with a DOT-approved helmet and goggles, a waterproof jacket and bib (or a one-piece suit), insulated gloves or mitts, warm waterproof boots, and a base layer and mid-layer underneath. Browse everything in Sled + Ride.

How should I layer for snowmobiling?

Use three layers: a moisture-wicking base layer against your skin, an insulating mid-layer like fleece, and a waterproof, windproof outer jacket and bib. Avoid cotton, which holds sweat and gets cold. Layers let you adjust as temperatures and riding effort change through the day.

Should I choose an insulated or a shell snowmobile jacket?

An insulated jacket has warmth built in, which suits trail riding and colder, lower-effort days. A shell is waterproof and windproof with no insulation, so you control warmth with the layers underneath. That works well for active or deep-snow riding, where you'll work up more heat.

Do you carry women's and youth snowmobile gear?

Yes. Shop women’s snowmobile gear, men’s snowmobile gear and youth snowmobile gear.

Everyday North, Après & Active

What is Everyday North?

Everyday North is our year-round collection of clothing for life up north: comfortable, durable pieces you can wear on the trail, around town and on the road. Shop women’s and men’s.

What is the Après collection?

Après is our cold-season collection for after the ride: cozy sweaters, warm layers, winter boots and accessories for the lodge, the bar or the drive home. Shop women’s and men’s.

What's in the Active collection?

Active covers clothing for training, hiking and everyday movement from brands like Vuori and FP Movement. Shop women’s and men’s.

What are Bear Rock Originals?

Bear Rock Originals is our own line of logo hats, tees, hoodies and accessories. They make great gifts for riders and anyone who loves Northern New Hampshire.

What should I pack for a weekend up North?

Pack layers. A base layer, a fleece or sweater, a waterproof jacket, comfortable pants, and a warm hat and gloves will cover most New England weekends, even when the weather changes by the hour. Everyday North is a good place to start.
