Pick the jacket for how you ride
Most of the choice comes down to one question: insulated or shell. Trail riders who spend more time seated than standing usually want insulation built in. KLIM's Klimate and Keweenaw are the warm trail jackets, the Valdez is the heavyweight for the coldest days, and 509's R-200, Powerline and Syn Down Insulated do the same job at a friendlier price.
Riders who stand, work the sled and sweat do better in a shell like KLIM's Storm, with layers underneath that can come off. For that layer, KLIM's Inferno and 509's Legion are the mid-layers our staff wears. The Element, Kompound and Kaos round out the lineup.
Match it with men's bibs and pants, add a mid-layer, or browse all snowmobile jackets.
